6-Course Marine Treasures

Porta Goes Local to celebrate Singapore’s 53rd Birthday with a 6-course Marine Treasures Menu.

This 2-day only event is a collaborative partnership between two home-grown brands – Porta and Ah Hua Kelong fish farm to showcase the best of locally-farmed seafood that has so much untapped potential, in ways one has never tasted before. Executive Chef Alex Phan, whose forte is in European cuisine, will infuse this precious haul with aromatic local herbs and spices with modern European culinary techniques to produce flavours and textures of intense depths.

Freshness and quality are paramount in this menu. The fish farm, Ah Hua Kelong, is established with the lofty ambition of reviving the glorious days of traditional locally-farmed seafood where quality live baits are used to nurture the harvest naturally instead of employing today’s commercial short cuts with use of growth hormones and chemicals. The result is a high quality, healthier produce that pleases the palate with its natural sweetness. To retain maximum freshness, the seafood is delivered on day as soon as it is harvested.

Porta’s 6-Course Marine Treasures is bound to present a culinary awakening that one will not soon forget.

On this special occasion, The Great Prosecco Countdown promotion is also available for diners to ramp up their celebration with a giggly good time. The first glass of Prosecco starts at $10++ and is subtracted by $2++ with each additional glass until it counts down to $0++, free-flow on the house from the 6th glass onwards.
